The P&C is hosting a BBQ to help our Prep–Year 2 students celebrate Under 8’s Day 🎉
On the day you’ll find:
BBQ sausage sizzle & Cake Stall
Story Behind the Coffee van for coffee and drinks
We’re also offering a special Under 8’s Day Meal Deal:
$7 Meal Deal – sausage on bread + popper + 40g chips
🍎 Prep Families – Pre-Order Required
Prep students must pre-order if they would like a sausage or meal deal, so orders can be delivered to the Prep precinct by 10:45am.
✅ Order via School24 > Events (not Tuckshop)
⏰ Orders close 8:00am on the day

If you’re not attending Under 8s Day with your child but you wish for them to purchase from the BBQ with their helper, please send money with your child (in a snap lock bag) .

CAN I VOLUNTEER TO HELP?
Volunteering is a great way to help support the school and make this an incredibly successful and fun day for the whole Wishart State School Community! As little as an hour a day, or staying the whole day, whatever suits you.
All volunteers are welcome to help with the Under 8’s BBQ , including cooking, setting up, packing down!
Click on the ‘Volunteer to Help’ button’ to find a time slot and activity that suits you. We just ask that all volunteers have first completed their Mandatory Training as per the Department of Education Requirements
Please note:Volunteers are required to follow health and safety requirements. We kindly ask that anyone who volunteers wear closed in shoes at fundraising events. Thongs/open-toed shoes are not acceptable footwear.
