Over the last 3 years we have raised over $100,000 and we are hoping 2026 will be our biggest year yet! Not only is this event about fundraising but it’s also about FUN and it is a highlight on the schools’ calendar.

can I volunteer to help on the day?

All volunteers are welcome to help with our Colour Explosion School Fun Run! There are a range of jobs from helping on obstacles, to cooking the BBQ. Time slots are 1 hour long. You can choose to volunteer at a time that your child is participating, or you can watch from the side line while they have their turn, and then volunteer during another Grade’s timeslot, your choice!!

We just ask that all volunteers have first completed their Mandatory Training as per the Department of Education Requirements

Volunteering is a great way to help support the school and make this an incredibly successful and fun day for the whole Wishart State School Community!

Please note: Volunteers are required to follow health and safety requirements. We kindly ask that anyone who volunteers wear closed in shoes at fundraising events. Thongs/open-toed shoes are not acceptable footwear.
