BUSH DANCE
Excitement is building as we prepare for the 2025 Wishart State School Bush Dance under Lights, which will be held on Tuesday, 12 August. The kids have been working hard in their classes to learn their dances, and are keen to show off their skills, so put on your cowboy boots, and be ready to dosey doe.
The Bush Dance will take place on the oval, starting from 5.00pm. Families and friends are welcome to come along, watch the dancing and join in the fun. As in previous years, students and families are encouraged to dress in the theme of the bush (jeans, checked shirts, boots and Akubra like hats etc).
Please note: Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Live music will be supplied by the Rantan Bush Band. We will have food trucks here on the night as well as a corn on the cob stall, run by our own Miss Cathie!
